Why We Exist

The world doesn't need everyone to think alike.

It needs us to learn how to live together.

We live in a world of different people, cultures, beliefs, opinions and ways of life.

We will not always agree.

And perhaps we don't need to.

Jiyo Aur Jeene Do — Live and Let Live — is a simple idea for a complicated world.

It is a belief that every person has the right to live their life with dignity and freedom, while respecting the same right of others.

It means choosing peace over violence, compassion over cruelty, understanding over hatred, dialogue over conflict and respect over judgement.

This idea is deeply inspired by the principle of Ahimsa — respect for life and non-violence — but Jiyo Aur Jeene Do is not about promoting any religion.

It is about a principle that can belong to everyone.

You don't have to agree with everyone. You don't have to think alike. But you can respect another person's right to be different.

Compassion should not be limited by religion, nationality, species or circumstance. People, animals and every living being deserve our consideration.

The choices we make matter. Let us try to leave our relationships, our communities, nature and the world a little kinder than we found them.
